We started with a simple observation: the people we wanted to meet weren't on the apps. They were at dinner parties, in conversations in private living rooms, hung out in spaces that definitely didn't talk about dating clubs or after work parties.

We asked ourselves: where do we like to go, who are the people we'd like to meet and where.

Kinda Special is a Curated Social Club - a network of small, personally selected events for people who find most networking hollow and most dating exhausting. We operate in Vienna and Berlin and if all goes well, soon in a city near you, and we're not particularly interested in scale for scale's sake.

​

What we do is straightforward: we design evenings, days, and weekends that bring together people who are genuinely worth knowing. Everyone goes through a short interview before they're accepted. Not because we're gatekeeping - but because the quality of the room is the whole thing.

We're honest about what happens there. Connections form. Sometimes romantic, often intellectual, always social. We don't pretend that's a side effect. It's the point.

The formats change - private dinners, gallery evenings, cooking sessions, hiking days, retreat weekends, listening sessions. What doesn't change is the standard: small, considered and most of all - worth your fucking time.

We're not an app. We're not a matchmaker. We're not a members club in the old sense. We're something that didn't quite exist yet - which is probably why you're reading this.
